Help me welcome and honor "Little Grandmother" Kiesha Crowther, WISDOM KEEPER and SHAMAN on Saturday, April 17 at 1:00PM MDT. As a young child, Little Grandmother spent long periods of time alone in the wilderness where she lived with and learned from the four-legged, winged-ones and swimmers as well as the star and stone people. It was during this time by the river she was taught great wisdom of the ages from voices calling her "Child". Then a Woman of Light visited Little Grandmother one night, touching her face, and from that point on nothing was the same. She discovered a special gift to sense and communicate with animals. Growing up with a profound love and respect for all creatures, Little Grandmother went on to achieve her degree in Animal Science and has worked as a wildlife specialist/rehabilitator for many years. She also established a non-profit organization called the SLV Wildlife & Endangered Species Rescue Center to insure a safe haven and protective environment for those animals who need rescue from either neglect or injury by protecting, saving, rehabilitating and preserving wildlife. Recently at the age of 30, Little Grandmother was made Shaman-Wisdom Keeper by the Sioux and Salish tribal grandmothers--a great honor. Last year she conducted "The Return of the Ancestors Gathering" in Santa Fe, NM, a powerful and healing ceremony, a time when the healing of Mother Earth would begin. Little Grandmother says,"My goal in life is to simply stay true to what I know, be honest and as loving of a person to all walks of life as I can, and to serve, heal and teach others how to love and protect Mother Earth and Her creatures.
