After finding a lump in her breast in August of 2006, Stephanie Brynjolfson had a mammogram and a needle biopsy done and the tests were clear. One year later, the lump reappeared along with hard tissue surrounding it. Her doctor referred her to a surgeon who removed the lump and diagnosed her with Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma. Her doctor recommended a bone scan and a PET scan and the results of those tests confirmed that the cancer had spread to her bones. She was at stage IV of Inflammatory Breast Cancer. With great determination Stephanie set in motion a plan to strengthen her body with a diet of organic foods, the elimination of diary, animal products and a supplement program. She now feels fantastic. She has completed radiation treatment and hopes for a clean bill of health. If you have had cancer personally or know someone who has cancer, you can call the Ask the Doc Show with any questions regarding this issue LIVE on Monday, January 12, 2009, at 1:00 pm.
