    Where does that information come from?

    After our March 17 show, where I worked with a call-in listener, I received the question, "How do you know those things about someone?  Where does that information come from?" 

    I don't worry about from where exactly the information comes.  Sometimes it's a subtle voice or mild nudging from a consciousness I can think of as outside of my consciousness.  I know that it's from light and love and I don't worry about who it is in particular.  Sometimes the speaker or nudger will reveal its identity to me by an image in my mind's eye or a direct knowingness from my center.  Often that's my cue to share with the person with whom I'm working what I've been shown.  But before I share, I ask the voice or image; sometimes the information is just to help me.

    But most of the time, I get the information by tapping into the field of frequencies or energy of the other person and then reading what I find. 

    Reading what I find? How do I read a field of frequencies?  Think of it as running a really powerful magnifying lens over pages of very tiny print.  The questions and concerns from the energy of the person I'm reading, not only what she is saying out loud but also where her entire being is pointing, tell some part of me on what page to place my lens.  Then I move the lens around a bit, fine tuning the location on the page (her frequency field) that's now magnified enough to read.  When I find the right spot, I feel a resonance or singing inside me. Now I know to read what's under my lens and translate that print (those frequencies) into a message we both can understand.  And by "reading what's under my lens,"  I mean I open myself up to the information there: Sometimes it's images and stories unfolding in my mind's eye ; sometimes words in my head; and most often it's a direct knowing, the information just blooms inside of me or my mind as if it had been there all along. 

    We all have the capacity to read ourselves and others and to get information from consciousnesses that seem outside of ourselves.  Like any skill, all that's needed is experience with the technique for the brain and the body to learn what to do with the raw data.  Like riding a bike-- balancing; pushing on the pedals with our feet while moving our legs in a circle; gripping the handlebars and moving our arms side to side to steer-- all those techniques and interplay between mind and body to make such a weird set of motions work together require the experience of doing them over and over again to encode the mind and body with the program of "riding a bike."  Once we have that program encoded, we don't think about it any longer.  We just get on the bike and go.

    So, all you need to communicate with other consciousnesses is practice. Allow the time to experience and encode the new routines into your mind and body.   Next time I blog, I'll give you some exercises that can help with the encoding.
