Expectations by definition is a belief that someone will or should achieve something, and a strong belief that something will happen or be the case in the future. Defined this term sounds positive and full of support and hope. When expectations come with love and compassion they can inspire us to grow and live with the habit of putting our best foot forward. As with every thing else, there are two or three sides to this expectation equation. On the flip side, if expectations come with pressure, lack compassion, patience and love this very same term can feel like a burden. So how do we manage external and internally driven social expectations?
