This is the story of my journey to find my voice and live my purpose. I wrote DESTINY the title track on the train between Baltimore and DC, I had lost 2 children and was fighting to be okay. It took me until now to find deep and unashamed love for myself. In that process, I walked away from someone I loved. I wrote FREE in the car with my son. ANGOLEIRA almost didn’t make the CD. SO FLY, BSM and SR were all born at Rashidi Bowe’s house. KISS ME is pure truth, lol. VDM is a tribute to my art and mestres. LIWYA is very special to me, it almost didn't make the CD. ULTM was a very fun project. This entire journey was born out of my desire to live as an example for MY BABY BOY. DREAMED A DREAM is the song I've sang to him since he was in my belly.
