Many times Christians are confused about loyalty to the people in our lives Jesus was very clear in making this statement. He lets us know when you are a Christian the world is not your friend and the bible tells us that to be a friend of the world is to be an enemy of God.
This proves even family that’s not of the faith rebellious, disobedient etc. these are the people he’s talking about.
