Al Simon describes himself as "an ordinary guy who became a Tai Chi and Qigong Master." Al learned his first Qigong exercises in 1975 (back when it was called "Chinese yoga"), and began Tai Chi in 1984. Al has been inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame three times, including as a Master and as a Founder, for his contributions to Tai Chi, Qigong, and Chi Development. Al is the creator of the ChiFusion program available at He also co-authored of the book 101 Great Ways to Improve Your Health. His articles on Tai Chi have appeared in such magazines as The Empty Vessel, Qi Journal, Wholistic Alternatives, and Natural Health Newsletter.
