From There to Here

John Morris has been on a journey away from art and back to it, experienced betrayal, and found success. On Friday, Feb. 23, noon PT/3 p.m. ET/8 p.m. UK, he will share that journey with Purpose Talk Radio listeners. For example, in 2010 John left Huddersfield to take a role in Scotland as a youth worker. For the first eight months in his new role, art didn't play much of a role for him. Then one night something called him to pick up the brushes and he again found that familiar connection. In 2012 he was studying at the Scottish Baptist College and was hospitalized with a bout of colitis. He was hospitalized, pumped with steroids, and sent home. With a lot of time on his hands since his illness interrupted his studies, he again got out the brushes and begin painting. In 2013 when John went on a month-long USA tour, his "best friend" kicked him out of the room he was renting in Scotland. Many more things have changed, and now John is an art teacher, artist, musician, and entrepreneur, among many other things.
