Celebrating Positive News Day 2016

July 15 is Positive News Day. Have you connected with your local media to tell them what type of newscast or print information you want to read? If not today is a good day to do it.  If you have and they have responded, come share the results. 

Purpose Talk Radio host Cindy Freeman will promote any media outlets that have created and given us positive news and would like you to share the ones you know about as well. She also will share with you how you can get media in your area to participate in Positive News Day, Positive News Month and get the type of news you want to read and hear. The show will air Friday, July 15, noon PT/3 p.m. ET/8 p.m.

During the month of July and particularly on July 15, professional and citizen journalists are asked to focus on positive news. Those who do not consider themselves "journalists" can find positive news stories and share the links to them with others.
