In today’s discussion, Dr. Jeannett and a few MSOL students will talk with John about the first course in the MSOL curriculum, History and Theory of Leadership. Dr. Jeannett was one of the first professors in the department and she helped design and develop numerous courses including Research, Professional Development, and Organizational Change. She also helped to create the format and structure for the Integrated Leadership Project, incorporate a group/learning community emphasis into the cohort formation, and establish the mentoring process. She served as mentor for cohorts #1 and #2. Dr. Jeannett has a doctorate in Administrative and Policy Studies, Masters in Counseling, and Bachelors in Art Education. She has worked as a consultant with organizations, in the field of career development and placement, and with various ministries in the church. Her research focus is on organizational health and personal/leadership development. Dr. Jeannett will be joined by MSOL students Kevin Boozel, Lynn Stillwaggon, Kylie Gibbons, and Carol George.
