A Passionate Pursuit For Purity

What is it that drives or motivates you? Afterall, we are all passionate for something or someone, perhaps its your kids, husband or wife, your job or hobby. Truth is we are in constant pursuit, but is it the right desires and motivations we should have? Are we just simply settling for a mediocre relationship with Christ? If we are not careful and vigilent we can become entrapped and ensnared by the enemy from having impure thoughts and desires that are outside of God's will for us. And so we find ourselves compromising a little, saying "this habit is ok", or "God understands what I go through", "afterall nobody's perfect". All of these excuses keeps us from living up to our potential in Christ and leaves us falling short. May God help us to have a greater desire for moral purity and cease from having any taste for sensual pleasures that never really satisfy.
