Psychotherapist Nancy Whitaker  

Nancy Whitaker is a licensed psychotherapist in Houston,Texas. While she is completely comfortable addressing most subject matter, her primary focus is on relationships and parenting. Nancy is the author of Shortchanged No More - A woman's guide to letting go and living free. The premise of this book is that many women are shortchanged in childhood when they do not receive consistent and predictable love, guidance, support and validation. As a result, many of their decisions and choices are shaped by what they didn't receive as children. Nancy states that her book has proven to be a valuable resource and tool for women, as well as men, who are interested in building the kind of life they want and deserve. Her first literary work is a relationship journal called, Beating the Odds - Journaling Your Way to a Satisfying Relationship. This journal uses incomplete sentences to prompt the reader on a journey of thought and self-discovery as well as to educate on having satisfying relationships.
