This was so interesting. The part about people going under anesthesia and having visions of the other side of the veil was profound to me. When I gave birth to my son, I blew into this whistle that gave me a safe gas that would supposedly give me amnesia. It did not, but what happened is that space and time seemed mixed up and the next day I asked my husband who all those people were in the birthing room. He said, "What people? There was me, you, the doctor and that's all."
