Christopher Nowinski, a former Harvard football player and WWE professional wrestler, is widely credited for bringing the concussion crisis to the forefront of public attention through advocacy and investigative work at the Sports Legacy Institute and Boston University Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy. Nowinski serves on the NFL Players Association Mackey-White TBI Research Committee and the Ivy League Concussion Committee. He is the author of the critically-acclaimed book Head Games, which later inspired an award-winning documentary of the same name.
