After reluctantly volunteering to be Santa Claus for a charity event in 2003 Ed Taylor actually became Santa the next year, but here's the twist; rather than gaining weight he lost it, in fact he lost 110 pounds. As the story unfolds Ed was even visited by spirits, not the Spirit of Christmas past, present and future but the actual spirits of deceased loved ones. The plot thickens as the years pass. His hair and beard grow longer, and whiter, but most importantly his experiences and stories begin to improve the lives of people around him and around the world.
My mission, says Santa Ed, is to increase happiness around the world and to help people see life from a more empowering, more joyful perspective. Santa Ed is now something of a Social Media celebrity with thousands of people following his life changing adventures. Many of these people are having their spirits lifted and seeing their lives made happier.
Santa Ed believes in the healing power of what he calls Life's 9 Greatest Gifts. He believes these gifts are available to each of us. His challenge is that delivering these gifts is more difficult than delivering a toy or a game. These gifts must be delivered in stories, stories that ignite the imagination and allow for new possibilities. It's through these stories that life's greatest gifts can be received and deep personal happiness and contentment can spread, person to person, throughout the world.
It's good to talk.
