ROBERT HICKS, former AAA baseball player, talks about how untreated depression ruined his shot at the Big Show!  Rob will share secrets to beating depression at its own game! 

Robert Hicks grew up in Saratoga, Ca. and attended the University of New Mexico on a baseball scholarship to play catcher and outfield.  Rob signed with the Phillies in June of 84 and earned his way up to AAA with Portland before troubles with his arm finally ended his career for good.  Rob went back to college and graduated with a degree in Economics from UNM in 1990.  He successfully worked for over 20 years in financial sales before getting his teaching license in 2011.  Rob is now a Freshman Math teacher at Volcano Vista High School in Albuquerque, NM, and loving it! In addition, Rob has been a high school baseball coach for the past 11 years and boasts 5 state championships, 2 state runner ups, and 2 third place finishes.  Rob has been married for 14 years to his wife Sherry, and has parented 2 beautiful step daughters, Rozzie and Jaime.

Rob is also is a strong advocate and a great "go to" source for professional players dealing with depression.
