Nicholas Snow welcomes NYC based filmmaker Dennis Shinners, writer/director of the critically-acclaimed and audience favorite short film Barrio Boy.  As we learn from The LGBTExpo.com, Shinners “has written, produced and directed award winning campaigns for networks such as Nickelodeon, Oxygen, Disney and Discovery Channel.  His newest short “Barrio Boy” is based on a feature length screenplay which is currently in pre-production.”

TheLGBTExpo.com says of the film, “Haircuts, hip-hop and homo-sex on the down-low… A Latino barber secretly falls in love with a handsome Irish stranger over the course of a haircut during a hot and sweaty summer afternoon in a macho Brooklyn hood."
