"Welcome, Sinners is an exploration of both what marriage and love are supposed to look like against what they really are - both straight and gay - and they're also my version of updated classic, tragic, heart-tugging romances like Making Love, Backstreet, Now, Voyageur, and An Affair to Remember," says writer/director Doug Spearman (Hot Guys with Guns).
The movie is a romantic film set in the post-Prop 8 world. Darryl Stephens (Noah's Arc, DTLA) plays Pete Logsdon just a guy in Philadelphia who happens to have a history of getting involved with married men, his father, played by veteran Richard Lawson (All My Children, Dynasty, Poltergeist, For Colored Girls, Angry Boys) and his soon to be step mom, Leslie Zemeckis (The Polar Express, Beowolfe) , are on him to find someone available and settle down. Instead he finds a man named Jack Dickinson played by Scott Bailey (Prayers For Bobby, The Guiding Light) , who is fifteen years in to a perfect marriage, with two beautiful daughters (Hannah and Rebecca Vogel-Frey) and an enviable wife played by Keili Lefkovitz (Pain and Gain opposite Mark Whalberg) . Jack and Pete start a relationship - and it all works until Pete meets the perfect gay man - Adam Klesh starring as John Armitage.
