Pamela Michell's background is non profit fund raising and program development. In an ordeal than began as a financial con in Honolulu, Pam was held captive and tortured by a serial offender in Washington State. Escaping with near fatal injuries in May 2005, over 30 surgeries and 4 years of legal proceedings, now trained as a Trauma Resolution Specialist, inspires the post-trauma shift from survive to thrive. An excerpt of her story will be included in volume 3 of Thank God I Series...her story entitled "Thank God I Had PTSD", she is currently penning her true crime survival story. Ironically, Pam's fund raising career began with Homeward Bound in Phoenix, the country's largest transitional housing program for domestic violence families. Pam lives in Torrance, CA and serves on fund raising committees for 1736 Family Crisis and A Window Between Worlds as well as supporting Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the Venice CA club in particular. She is seeking corporate sponsorship and opportunities to share her true story as a cautionary tale and an inspiration. http://www.SurvivorOnAMission.org includes blog, video clips and free downloads.
