How prepared are you? Are you prepared enough, somewhat, or, not at all? Or could it be...why be prepared at all! Well it is simple, being prepared can save one life, or an entire community, neighborhood, or village. Preparedness is really like delving into the unknown. Perhaps that is why so many of us refuse to get prepared because its like saying that you are completely vulnerable and getting prepared for something without knowing that it is definitely going to happen is admitting our weakness. We as human beings, like to feel that we control our destiny completely. Every bit of our time is precious, so the last thing we want to be spending our time doing is something that we are not certain that it is going to happen in the first place. It's like foreplay without the pay-off. This kind of thinking only makes the problem worse. Not only we as individuals don't get prepared, but we convince our love ones, our co-workers, our neighbors not to do the same. We at D.I.E., do not share this sentiment, that is why we insist that you educate yourself on ready-preparedness and empower people to empower people. Get Informed, Make a P.E.K. (Personal Emergency Kit), Create a Plan!.
