Premier Guide Media

Bravo's "Real Housewife of New York City" star Bethenny Frankel has dispense with drama and chaos for a more intimate and focused lifestyle, where her life no longer includes former "Real Housewives of New York City" castmates Kelly Killoren Bensimon and Jill Zarin.

The fast talking New Yorker now stars in her own docu-series, "Bethenny Gets Married?" which is an intimate look into her life as she juggles motherhood, career, and falling in love with New York businessman, Jason Hoppy.

Notwithstanding all the drama that surrounded her in season 3 of the "Real Housewives of New York City", Bethenny had an amazing year. She authored two New York Times Best Sellers  – Naturally Thin: Unleash Your Skinny girl & Free Yourself from a Lifetime of Dieting and The Skinnygirl Dish: Easy Recipes for Your Naturally Thin Life, manages a  successful "Skinnygirl" cocktail line, new life as a mother, wife and a popular docu-series.

The series seems to be a favorite among Bravo's fans which debuted as their highest-rated, attracting over 2 million viewers.

Premier Guide Miami: Is "Bethenny Gets Married?" a departure from the "Real Housewives of New York City"?

Bethenny Frankel: Absolutely. I think everyone at Bravo is actually surprised by that. It is so different. You get in the details of my life, my relationship with my husband, what it is like for me to get down the aisle pregnant, and all the changes in my life. It is really funny, but also emotional and not catty. I do not have to yell at anyone for it to be entertaining. I don't have to be at a cocktail or charity event and rip someone a new one or them rip me a new one to be entertaining. That just gives you a headache.

Premier Guide Miami: So no more "Real Housewife of New York City"?

Bethenny Frankel: I don't know. If I were in a lesser role, maybe. It's enough. What else is there to do? It is the top of the party and I really wanna leave.

Premier Guide Miami: We will miss fast talking Bethenny Frankel.

Bethenny Frankel: Yes. That is the only reason, just to comment. It got heightened this season. My new show is so refreshing compared to that.

Premier Guide Miami: Your dad recently passed, was he there during the pregnancy? May his soul rest in peace.

Bethenny Frankel: Dad was present throughout the pregnancy, but passed before the birth of baby Bryn.

More Bethenny cravings below.

Bethenny on:

Balancing career and motherhood:

I did date night with my husband which was very smart.

I have learned how to be balanced, reasonable and not obsessive.

The good news is, my office is at my house and the filming crew work around me. I can handle that.

All the seeds I have planted have grown up. Skinny girl Margaritta is nationwide, my books are New York Times Bestsellers, and I did the tours. It is hard with breast feeding; I am not Julia Roberts. I haven't been successful all these years where I could take time off, and be on a farm as a homemaker.

Pregnancy likes and dislikes

Dislike: Not being able to wear my shoes. The wheels came off after my wedding. I was like a big balloon.

Likes: Feeling like a woman, you feel special-like a miracle. I like that it was a whole experience, something new everyday. I also liked the red velvet cake at cheesecake factory.

Kelly Killoren Bensimon and Dina's tweets on being scary and Intimidating

Kelly Killoren Bensimon has this nonsense bullying angle she is working which is idiotic for a 41 years old woman. She is out of her mind and certifiable.

Dina is really sweet. She is a nice girl who doesn't get into the fray. She is Italian and perceived as a tough girl, but Dina is a nice sweet Jersy girl. I can see her thinking i am a bit scary. I grew up at the racetrack. I am a little street, and I am definitely rough around the edge.

On her trip to St. John with Kelly

C-section was less painful to me. It was horrendous.

Comparing "Real Housewives of New York City" with "Bethenny Gets Married?"

"Real Housewives of New York City": It doesn't really show me in my true light. I do not hang out with a lot of women. I focus mostly on working, and when I am in a relationship, on my relationship.

"Bethenny Gets Married?" gets into the real details of my life. There are no big blowouts at cocktails or charity events. I don't really go out that much, and the show shows the nonsense of my life.

"Real Housewives of New York City": The purpose I have on the HWNY is to comment. They don't need my running commentary.

"Bethenny Gets Married?": You see my life here, so I don't know what I would be doing there.

"Bethenny Gets Married?" is dedicated to both  my professional and personal life. It is dedicated to the struggles I go through at 39 years old, getting engaged, getting pregnant, balancing my career, and doing everything backwards. Nothing I do seems to be at the right time.

Other Housewives on
"Bethenny Gets Married?" and a possible Jill Zarin's appearance

Other housewives will be on the show only to the extent of what is going on in my life. This is not like anyone is being hired or making appearances. Alex was invited to my bridal shower, and she came. Romona was out of town, therefore she could not make it. However, she visited the baby, but will be out of town for the baby shower. Nothing was orchestrated, there is no drama, and no fighting with Ramona and Alex. Jill is not on the show, because Jill is not in my life. I see Alex and Romona on my show which is really nice and pleasant.

On Weight Loss and diet

You can't win for losing, and you have to take it wit a grain of salt from where you get it. I gained 35lbs during the pregnancy. I gave birth 5 weeks early, so I probably would have gained 40lbs for my total pregnancy which is completely healthy weight to gain.

Women should be healthy before and after their pregnancy. I did not do anything drastic. i did not do anything different.

The entire time I was pregnant I ate sensibly with a bit of indulgence. If I wanted cheese cake for lunch, I had it, but not for dinner. I don't count calories based on what I was eating, I was eating more. Your diet is your bank account, I guess I had a bigger bank account.

Walking and yoga helped.

Bethenny does therapy

I do not have time to go to therapy. I would do a show on my own just to be able to have therapy. I am in therapy sessions once a week. i am so excited to be there, I don't even notice the cameras. i love it, I have learned a lot and I can't wait to go back. It was my idea to do the therapy on the show. It is a true dipiction of my life.

When you are pregnant, while engaged, while planning a wedding, while trying to run a business, while shooting a show, while doing a book tour, blah blah blah... You have to lock the door before you get robbed.

On Cookie (her dog) adjusting to her new life

She is not neglected but it's a bit of adjustment. She seems to be calm and very protective.

Jill reaching out

She has not reached out lately. I saw her at the reunion and she has reached out a couple of times in the last couple of months. She is not in my life anymore, and this is the time I want people who are good for me, and good for my family. What am I going to say to Jill? I have nothing to say to Jill. She is a nervous breakdown on my show. I don't know what else to say.

Jill announcing the birth of Bethenny's baby on twitter

My honest reaction was, she can't get out of her own way.

"Bethenny Gets Married?" instead of Jill getting a hobby and Kelly therapy

"Bethenny Gets Married?" involves other people.

Kelly in therapy involves a shrink and a padded room, so that might not be interesting for a whole hour.

Jill getting a hobby would probably take a little longer by the time production is up.
