My last 2 babies were born at home, breastfeeding never a problem. My last baby took the breast witin 2 minutes after birth.

Out of 7 children, I've experienced clogged ducts twice. never received medication, just kept breasfeeding and applied hot compress and expressed milk by hand. Although the second time was with my 7th baby, I had a fever for about 18 hours.

Why isnt the chat room open? This is an interesting topic. I've breastfed 6 babies and breastfeeding my 3 month old now. I'm interested in becoming a Lactation consultant/specialist etc/whatever, there are many names given for women teach about breastfeeding.
