How to start and lead a Bible study using the Precept Ministries 40 Minute series.

This is the 4th installment of our “How To” series designed to introduce you to our studies and equip you to be a more effective Bible study leader. Join our host David Lawson and his special guest BJ Lawson. As you may suspect by the last name, they are married. As a matter of fact they are about to celebrate 34 years of marriage. But, that is not reason she is going to be the guest on this program. BJ is the Chief Editor and developer of the 40 Minute studies, and along with David has co-authored more than half of the books in this series. The 40 Minutes were developed in 2001 to meet the needs of those who wanted or needed an inductive Bible study with no work outside of class time. These studies are six weeks in length, and each lesson should take approximately 40 minutes to complete. They cover biblical topics rather than books of the Bible, and are designed so that no formal training is required for leaders or students.
