Each year seems to be a little more stressful. With the economy changing, people being laid off permanently, and accumulated debt for students, homeowners, and the unemployed we need relief from stress.
People who engage in a spiritual practice have been found to be more resilient and more healthy. By partaking of a few practices that don't cost a lot or take a lot of time, you can learn to deal with stress, to heal yourself, to grow, and to use all of the negatives in society to create a positive life. Practical Spirituality gives you an understanding of yourself, the community around you, and reality.
it gives you the power to reclaim your creative self and get rid of the thoughts, feelings, and ideas that have been planted in your subconscious that may have helped you survive at one time, but may be harming you now. Religion is good, and religious practices, but sometimes they become part of the system to the point that they only reinforce your feelings of lack of self worth, or your fears.
All that is left is for you to take the path of the spiritual warrior and destroy these false ideas and beliefs. We present the idea of the Warrior of Compassion and reclaiming your power to create and say yes and no. As a result of this philosophy we will be challenging belief systems and discussing thoughts and ideas strongly.
