I wanted to share a link with you to an article I wrote about dating because I heard one of you on a show saying that you wanted to know immediately what a guy's intentions were. I had to giggle cause even though I know you don't wanna waste time, can dude know your middle name first? lol! http://www.examiner.com/x-22282-SF-Dating-Advice-Examiner~y2009m10d10-Dating-tips-dating-advice-on-making-smarter-choices-in-love

C'mon now, ladies... If you're going to claim that everything you say is the truth then you're full of yourselves. In the same fashion you accused all the male callers of speaking BS you have to admit that just about everything you've spoken on this show was your opinions, not facts. This being said, you're very much entitled to your opinion, as were the male callers to theirs.

Ladies, ladies, ladies.... there is no shortage of GOOD men out there. I think most black American women overlook the genuinely good men because they don't come in the package that these woman would like (social status, abundant disposable income, flashy clothes and cars, etc). Good men of character and integrity who would make excellent husbands and fathers ARE out there but they're flying under the radar.

Let us not forget that an overwhelming majority of mama's boys are the way they are because they were raised by overbearing single mothers who castrated them all their lives. Of course you have mama's boys born from two-parent households, but I am willing to bet most men who grew up in a two-parent household with strong fathers are NOT mama's boys.

Ladies, I think you read way too much into that Boyz 2 Men song---it's only a song, for crying out loud, not a reflection of the mindset of black men in general. This being said, I DO agree with you that a man shouldn't be enmeshed with his mother, especially once he gets married and has a family of his own. And sometimes it's mothers who have a hard time letting the son go, by the way.
