Today we welcome back Frank Louis Allen to our show to get more insight and perspective into the spectrum and his artistry. Frank is a very talented artist who does his doodles on practically everything. He is very imaginative and likes to go with the flow creatively bending shapes in unique ways. Frank Louis Allen discovered his unique art style in November 2011, after a serous back injury which left him disabled. This created the opportunity for him to pick up his Letraset markers that had laid in a draw for over half a decade. At this time he started his popular drawing blog to showcase his many and varied unique drawings.Frank Allen’s Art Style is extremely quick, confident, creative, and imaginative. He works without any preconceived plan, letting the art emerge naturally and organically, and achieves this by distracting himself with conversation, music, or TV, distracting himself just enough so that the lines are free to be what they will be ; unhindered by any set purpose, or visual destination. In fact he rarely has any plan for a picture and this counter intuitively enables images to emerge that are instantly recognisable to anyone viewing his work. Frank feels that this is partly due to him having A-Typical Autism (PDD-NOS) and being most at ease with a pen in his hand.
