Positively Autistic: The Autism & Homeschooling Journey

I'm Erika, married to Chris for 22yrs and homeschooling mom to Zekariah, Luke & Daniel. We began our journey down 'autism road' in 1995 and began homeschooling in 1997. I've been advocating, consulting, writing & speaking about homeschooling special needs children with a focus on the Autism Spectrum since 1999. 

 

I hope to provide you with insight into why homeschooling can be an incredible journey, like none other and one you don't want to miss! I will tell our story and provide information into learning styles, educational methods, insight into homeschooling laws, testing, curriculum options, home-therapy ideas, the Big "S" - Socialization, interviews with others on the same journey and so much more!
