With a firm knowingness, she smiled and replied, "God loves you!" Growing up in a Catholic household "God" was her frame of reference, yet now it is clear to her, that it was Sophia whispering in her ear all along. She also used to speak of an imaginary friend who lived in her closet and was waiting for the right time to come out and play. Many of her childhood photographs reveal orbs of light near or around her body. In one particular picture the light behind her takes on the shape of a women, with her hand on Kristina's head. Trying to fully describe Sophia is truly impossible. Sophia is not just a Goddess, she is "The" Goddess: the counterpart to God, equally profound, equally known and unknown, equally mysterious and misunderstood. She is the totality of every Goddess from every time, culture and religion, and to those that come to understand her: "Wisdom Incarnate".
