  Want to better communicate with a family member suffering from Alzheimer’s? Susan Kohler is a licensed a speech pathologist, world famous actress and singer, and author. In her new book, How to Communicate with Alzheimer’s, A Practical Guide and Workbook for Families, she shares stories and techniques on how to handle and care for someone battling the disease. Throughout her acting and musical she continued her work in Speech-language Pathology and found she had a strong compassion for working with the elderly. Her large repertoire of music, she found, worked to her advantage, providing her with one of the many ways of connecting to persons with Alzheimer’s, for there is always a way to reach someone through music.
