Church of the Essene Teacher Call-In Show #36 - 9/9/17

    in Health

Church of the Essene Teacher is a new project of Lost Arts Radio, started the last day of 2016. At the end of the Essene period, about 2,000 years ago, a great teacher was talking to the Essenes, and others who would listen, about who they really were, exactly how they could wake up from their trance and reconnect to their Source, the one we call "God" or "Spirit." I want to share memories and the energetic gift I remember from that teacher, with any of you who may be interested.
It's not a religious show, and everyone is welcome. We can talk about health, consciousness, life, world affairs, whatever we want. My interest is to invite the current of harmony, respect, love and healing back into our world. I want us to turn back from the path of destruction our leaders are pushing us down right now. I know we can do that. There are vast healing energies flowing through us. We have only forgotten. They are now needed again, and it is in our power to bring them back. Maybe some of you would like to help me do that. Our forgotten healing ability and awareness, are the real "lost arts." This show is about finding them again. And using them.
I want to personally invite you to listen, and participate if you want to. Meet me at www.blogtalkradio.com/lostartsradio, at 9pm EST / 6pm PST time, on Saturday evenings. If you want to call with comments or questions, you can reach the show at 657-383-1002. You can also use that number to just listen. If you miss the show time, you can hear the archives free of charge, at www.lostartsradio.com. But if you make it for the live show, please join me then.

How to Explain "Charging Water" to your friends and family!

    in Health

Many of us charge our water with intentions and frequencies, but do we really understand how it works?
Gerald Pollock, in hi sbook "The Fourth Phase of Water: Beyond Solid, Liquid, and Vapor"  is a phenomenal read that is easy to understand even for the non-professional.
He clearly explains the theory of the fourth phase of water, which is nothing short of ground-breaking. The fourth phase of water is, in a nutshell, living water. It’s referred to as EZ water—EZ standing for “exclusion zone”—which has a negative charge. This water can hold energy, much like a battery, and can deliver energy too.
This is SO foundational to much of the energy healing work that we do together that I asked him to be on the show.. and he said YES!
The "doctor" in me is Super exicited to have one of the leading premier scientists in this field share the research behind why things like charging your water.. really works!
*Note: this is a pre-recorded interview, but please feel free to ask your questions below in the comments.

Ernestine Shepherd - World's Oldest Female Bodybuilder/Guinnes Book World Record

    in Health

Ernestine Shepherd (June 16, 1936) was the oldest competitive female bodybuilder in the world, as declared by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2010 and 2011.
Ms. Shepherd is in better shape than most people, decades her junior. Up at 3 a.m. every morning, she spends her days running, lifting weights and working out.  She also works as a certified personal trainer at her gym.
Feeling better than she did at 40,”Bodybuilding champion Ernestine Shepherd shows us that ”being out of shape” as we age truly is merely an option — NOT a mandate!  She is a role model not just for senior women everywhere, but for every one of us. .
Inspired by Sylvester Stallone she is a die-hard “Rocky” fan, and fan of First Lady Michelle Obama.  She says Sylvester Stallone is her man, and she would love to meet him one day.  Also, she is looking for an excuse to meet the First Lady Michelle Obama and help her with her work on controlling obesity, who she calls “so beautiful, inside and out.”  She feels they are on the same mission and should combine their work.
Her diet consists of 1,700 calories a day, mostly from boiled egg whites, chicken, vegetables and a liquid egg white drink, and she runs about 80 miles a week; she does not take supplements.  She is trained by former Mr. Universe Yohannie Shambourger.

Myeloma Crowd Radio: Michael O'Dwyer, MD, National University of Ireland

    in Health

Sugar molecules could act as a smoke screen for multiple myeloma cells, essentially hiding them from the immune system.  The surface sugars, called sialic acids, can mark the cancer cells as “self” cells, giving the immune system the signal to ignore them.
Dr. Michael O'Dwyer is Director of the Blood Cancer Network Ireland and Professor of Hematology at the National University of Ireland Galway. Dr. O'Dwyer has expertise in the glycosylation process as it relates to multiple myeloma. The glycosylation process (or the reaction when carbohydrates is attached to other molecules) is a process that produces DNA, RNA and proteins. This normal process is altered in multiple myeloma and could cause changes in cell signaling, adhesion and drug resistance. In this show we will explore how this affects multiple myeloma, if food intake is related to the presence of sugar molecules and how it is tested for in myeloma.
In 2015, Dr. O'Dwyer received a Clinician Scientist Award worth €1.7m from the Health Research Board to establish a translational research programme in multiple myeloma at NUI Galway. This helped lead to the Blood Cancer Network, Ireland, a Science Foundation Ireland/Irish Cancer Society funded network focusing on delivery of early phase clinical trials to blood cancer patients along with establishment of a biobank and registry.
