Vetulus Pectoris, Ploutizo Pneuma (Poor Souls, Enriched Spirit) to me means that, even though we ought to be pitied for all we’ve endured in this life, we do not have reason to despair because there is still hope (through spirituality, artistry, literature, entertainment and media). Instead of just starting a boring traditional book club I’m seeking to use "BlogTalkRadio" to highlight all forms of the Arts, art appreciation, communication, entertainment, ethnic diversity, cultural differences and current events to uplift our ‘poor souls’, enlighten our minds and raise our consciousness. Join us, Sunday evenings for some exposure to the Arts and a behind-the-scenes look at Saint Louis music and entertainment when Poor Souls Society presents, "Open Mic" with Teya King! Again, that's Sunday nights beginning at 7 P.M. until 9 P.M. Monday's at 9 P.M. (for 2 hours) and at 11 P.M. (for another 2 hours) to discuss the latest issues and current political events. Poor Souls Radio Show w/ Jay Stewart (a.k.a. 'JamesGreyFalcon' to most), starts us off (at 9 P.M. on Monday's) offering his 'radical' version of Conservatism. His views do not go along with the ludicrous and ridiculous things being heard under the guise of Conservatism. Jay recovers his ideology, that so many today are attempting to kidnap and highjack those ideals he hold's near! On the other hand and next (immediately following Jay's Show), Poor Souls Radio Show w/ Avery Boyd, Jr., reveals his progressive views and liberal background, make him a hard nut to crack... however just give him a listen and see what he ideals he has available to use to move us all away from complete reliance and dependency on government, but who also believes that government will be pivotal in helping change our direction as a Society, so we can plot a new course for the future.
