Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately? There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective. Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting. But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree! If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!
It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!
This is Part 2 of the discussion started Sunday on NORTH FLORIDA WRITER TALKS concerning the Plight of Small Rural Landowners. Water is becoming an issue in Florida and small rural landowners are certainly holding "the short end of the stick". Karen Chadwick joins host James Dick of northfloridawriter.com and a major contributor to the Conservative Report to discuss this problem that impacts not only Florida but small landowners across the nation.
Karen brings extensive practical knowledge of Florida's water network gained from her experience as a sculptor who has designed models of rivers and other aquifer related water sources that are now displaying stress from lack of sufficient recharge and introduction of pollutants. Preparing for her work assignments has required her to interface with subject matter experts with both government and private experience as well as conduct extensive independent research to master each task undertaken. The show is being broadcast Saturday since Sunday, Easter, will be spent honoring The One who gave us the ultimate gift.
We will discuss the interrelationship of water and development, the state of the water sources today and where they are headed in the future. If you are concerned about the quality and quantity of your water supply, as you should be, the discussion is designed to make you think about what life will be like if we don't pay attention to this life giving resource. If not, the future could be very bleak indeed.

A taboo topic for the dinner table and social gatherings, politics both unite and divide our world. Especially every four years. BlogTalkRadio's Election coverage is vast, varied and accurate: We know it's not always the pundits with the best insight on today's political climate; our hosts represent the voice of the people, by the people, for the people. Whether you fall on the Conservative end of the spectrum, the Progressive, are moderate or somewhere on the many shades in between, you'll find plenty of commiseration with those who share your views, some of which are famous dignitaries like Michelle Obama and Kofi Annan, or famous actors, authors, news reporters, TV personalities, even comedians. The best part? If you've got something to say, you can start your own show! Go on, hop up on that soapbox and have at it – speak your mind, rant, rave and filibuster to your heart's content.
