  • "What in the World is a Co-Pastor?"

    in Politics

Church folk can really come up with some foolishness and the people NEVER question it!
Have you ever heard of a Co-CEO of a company?
A Co-Head Coach of a asports Team. How crazy would it be to have two head coaches ona football team?
"Co" means: "the SAME"...When I think of "Co" I think of two men or two women...
You can see where that might be a problem in a company, church, business or marriage!
Somebody has got to be the decison maker and call the shots. What happens when your Co-pastors get divorced? Or locked up? or Dies? In almost every instance the female partner is ousted and replaced by a new Pastor.
A two headed monster is Frankenstein! We goin' in on P2T!

  • James Robert Webb Live

    in Military

Join us this week as we welcome country music singer songwriter, James Robert Webb. Country music’s newest hybrid - “The Singing Doctor” stethoscope by day, guitar strap by night. Hailing from Kellyville, OK., Webb’s musical journey started as an early teen when he picked up a guitar and also tinkered with a variety of  musical instruments. He soon went on to win the title of All-State Jazz Pianist while still in high school. Influenced by the great Oklahoma vocalists Garth Brooks, Ronnie Dunn and Vince Gill, Webb has a flair for traditional country with a modern bent. Webb’s first single “Party in the Barn” is an honest to goodness bonafide country party song with an old school feel. His current single, “Daddy Made a Million” recalls his father’s hard work and what he left behind that was more valuable than money. Webb has been working over the last year writing, co-writing and producing his first country album. The album is due out this summer and his band has been playing shows regionally. We will talk to James about his upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at his music, feature his latest songs, and ask him to share his message for the troops. Please be sure to visit James Robert Webb at http://www.jamesrobertwebb.com/ and spread the word. Fans are welcome to call in and speak live with James during the show (718) 766-4193. If you would like to participate in the live chat during the show, you must sign up on the show site first and then log in during the show. And as always we will give shout outs to our deployed military listeners. Be sure to join us, Sunday 6/28/2015 at 4 PM EDT! Our message to the troops: WE do what we do, because YOU do what you do.

About Politics

A taboo topic for the dinner table and social gatherings, politics both unite and divide our world. Especially every four years. BlogTalkRadio's Election coverage is vast, varied and accurate: We know it's not always the pundits with the best insight on today's political climate; our hosts represent the voice of the people, by the people, for the people. Whether you fall on the Conservative end of the spectrum, the Progressive, are moderate or somewhere on the many shades in between, you'll find plenty of commiseration with those who share your views, some of which are famous dignitaries like Michelle Obama and Kofi Annan, or famous actors, authors, news reporters, TV personalities, even comedians. The best part? If you've got something to say, you can start your own show! Go on, hop up on that soapbox and have at it – speak your mind, rant, rave and filibuster to your heart's content.
