    in Politics Progressive

Firstly, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! We hope all the fathers out there have a great day today.
This election cycle is unpredictable as it is exciting. Lots of twists and turns with surprises at every turn. It's hard to keep up sometimes as the plot thickens with the 2 major political Establishments.
Is it the beginning of the end for "Establishment Politics" in America? Where does the Anti-Establishment Revolution goes from here? Can a Third Party, and its candidate, ever be successful in American politics? Republicans want to deny the Trumpster the nomination some how and Bernie Sanders refuse to drop out and endorse Madam Secretary Hillary Clinton. As States flip in favor of Sanders and Super Delegates drop Clinton like a bad habit daily, does it hurt her & does it embolden Trump that Sanders stays in the race? What are your thoughts and opinions on this and any other hot button issues affecting you? RULES 1. Say your first name and where you are calling from.  2. Wait to be acknowledged by either host. Don't be a rude asshole or you'll be cut off immediately 3. Explaining RNC Rules & will they be Used to Manipulate Delegates to Stop Trump

    in Politics Conservative

Join Bards Logic, the Voice of the Grassroots in welcoming Morton Blackwell, discussing the RNC Rules for the GOP 2012 & 2016 Conventions.
Morton Blackwell is the president of the Leadership Institute. He served on the Louisiana Republican state central committee for 8 years. First elected to the Arlington County (Virginia) Republican Committee in 1972, he is a member of the Virginia Republican state central committee and was first elected in 1988 as Virginia’s Republican National Committeeman (RNC), a post he still holds. In 2004 he was elected to a term on the Executive Committee of the RNC.
Having worked actively in politics for more than fifty years, he has probably trained more political activists than any other conservative. Starting in the 1960s, he has trained thousands of people who have served on staff for conservative and Republican candidates in every state.
In 1980, he organized and oversaw the national youth effort for Ronald Reagan. He served as Special Assistant to the President on President Reagan’s White House Staff 1981-1984.
Mr. Blackwell is something of a specialist in matters relating to the rules of the Republican Party. He served on rules committees of the state Republican parties in Louisiana and in Virginia. He serves now on the RNC’s Standing Committee on Rules and has attended every meeting of the Republican National Conventions’ Rules Committees since 1972.

Graceland: The Case Against Welfare with Dr. Jerome Huyler

    in Politics

Anti-poverty programs that were put in place as a safety net have instead created a cycle of generational dependency we call the welfare state. Government assistance is no longer a temporary condition, but has become a way of life.
At the same time, big government spending has created $18 trillion dollars in national debt and there appears to be no end in sight. Entitlements and government spending are on an unsustainable course.
The easy answer to this problem is to stop spending.
Many will say that America needs tax reform or a balanced-budget amendment. Although these are good ideas, Dr. Jerome Huyler, explains in his book, "The Case Against Welfare," the best way to correct the problem is to defund Obamacare and dismantle the welfare state. This includes anti-poverty programs, earmarks, business bailouts, farm subsidies and many other entitlements.
Join Graceland with Jennifer Meadows and TJ O'Hara and their guest Dr. Jerome Huyler

About Politics

A taboo topic for the dinner table and social gatherings, politics both unite and divide our world. Especially every four years. BlogTalkRadio's Election coverage is vast, varied and accurate: We know it's not always the pundits with the best insight on today's political climate; our hosts represent the voice of the people, by the people, for the people. Whether you fall on the Conservative end of the spectrum, the Progressive, are moderate or somewhere on the many shades in between, you'll find plenty of commiseration with those who share your views, some of which are famous dignitaries like Michelle Obama and Kofi Annan, or famous actors, authors, news reporters, TV personalities, even comedians. The best part? If you've got something to say, you can start your own show! Go on, hop up on that soapbox and have at it – speak your mind, rant, rave and filibuster to your heart's content.
