A defining-moment message of discontent has been sent to the standing government for its irresponsible spending and blinders-on leadership. Now, following McCain's unveiling of Sarah Palin as his running mate, Scott Brown winning in Massachusetts, and Constitution minded Congressman Ron Paul wins the straw poll at the CPAC convention. But now the grassroots wildfire is growing in new directions. In England, of all places, politician Daniel Hannan is picking up America’s Tea Party torch and waving it on the floor in Parliament. Tonight on the Political Pistachio Radio Revolution Ned Ryun joins us. He is President of American Majority, who believes that real political change begins at the local level. It is going to take engaged citizens working together in their communities to effectively implement freedom on a national level. They believe that individual liberty will only be achieved through limited government and free markets and that by training candidates and activists to be effective towards those goals today, we will enhance tomorrow. American Majority is a national non-profit, non-partisan political training institute whose mission is to train and equip a national network of leaders committed to individual freedom through limited government and the free market. Headquartered in Purcellville, Virginia, the organization currently has state offices in Arkansas, Kansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma and Texas, with plans to open additional state offices in 2010. The organizational philosophy remains centered around the grassroots. American Majority works hard to ensure premier training programs are accessible to activists and candidates around the country. Since the organization's inception in 2008, they have conducted hundreds of training sessions in dozens of states, providing resources and education to more than 5,000 candidates and grassroots activists.
