Candice Blansett-Cummins, Mentor and Founder of Wishcraft

As Founder of the Wishcraft workshop and Wishcraft Works in Chicago, Candice combines her talents as an executive with her love of all things creative.  From building Barbie villages with shoebox buildings to building the technology strategy for a billion dollar international business, Candice has built a colorful set of credentials.   Following executive careers in fashion with Gap, Inc. and costuming with The Walt Disney Company, Candice was appointed Vice President and Divisional CIO of Sony Pictures Television International.  Candice established Wishcraft in 2008 - a place for children and adults to explore their own creativity without judgment, and to experiment with the joy of creative reuse and upcycling. Within its first year, Wishcraft was awarded Nickelodeon's 2009 Parents Pick Award for being the Best Kids Party Place in Chicago.
