It Goes A Little Bit Like ..."Trains"

    in Poetry

It goes a little bit like this, is completely in the hands of the audience.  We never quite know who will be calling next.  And we never know what poetry pieces we will be hearing.  So buckle up for the ride with the most coffee sharing, cow gif posting, avatar changing, emoticon using group of late night poets that you are ever likely to bump into, in this one place.  It goes a little bit like this, poetry on the edge of well, something.
Late nights, reflect mornings, as end of day in the USA Is lunchtime in my home town (except the following day.) But upside down and running is familiar to us in Southern climes. So we keep the lines open in distant cities as seek rhymes. As I travel around my country with a few side journeys beside. Everyone is welcome to join, guessing where that day I reside. In my study, an airport or in a  field with mosquitos three. You never quite know where you may find AP.

Garden of Enlightenment with Luyu Wild Dove...

    in Poetry

Poetry has its own individual voice in each of us. It is the lyrics of our experiences that form and shed enlightenment in who we are.  Each poem paints what is, what is missing and the desires that burn inside each of us that we crave. They are the door we open in our soul's closet taking out our hidden treasures, exposing them to the world.  Trinkets, jewels of emotions of different textures, colors and strengths we place before you in poetry.

A New Look at Poetry Classics with Agressman...

    in Poetry

I will delve into past poetry classics and then give my interpretation.  Then I will read an unknown poet from allpoetry. Using comparisons, I will show that people still feel as the literary giants feel.I will then accept callers to give their thoughts or possibly read something that fits the poetry for the show.  In the midst of the show, I will show you that poetry can be fun and a creative weapon against many things going on in your life. I will sometimes be crazy, irreverent and do stupid voices, but hey that's me.

Ink, Blots, & Thoughts with Boston ...

    in Poetry

Our poets' bones swallow the pulse of murmurings to blow that once ossified ash into the distance collect in one place, inspired to speak its liquid voice or hammered keys to the page, reuniting the past to the present, tied the relevance of today. Their hearts sail under black and white canvas trusting the quill in winds imagined. They romp and splash in tides pooled to remain and wonder.
Will you dive the waves with me and paint? Drink the Kool-aid of love's drool and drivel, or throw back a few, spilling discontent to draw on the thick dross that lives do contain and rename it... beauty? Follow along with me as we attempt to wrap your mind between the lines, perpetually lost so that color be found within the monochromatic world of poetry, wandering... 'Ink, Blots, & Thoughts.'

    Sizzlin with Sensuality with Deborahlee...

    in Poetry

One of my favorite things to do in the world is to tease. It is intoxicating, to incite emotion in others. Poets can share ideas on how to tease with words. How to set the tone to melt the reader. I want to throw out a stanza, and have my fellow poets throw out their own to construct group poems. I want to have open discussions on what turns on vs what appalls. My hope is to have other poets do guest readings of their own pieces. Sensuality is power. Let's take control...together let’s help one another to sizzle with sensuality. To tease with seductive, descriptive innuendo.  To leave them screaming for more... more!
