Xpressions Radio presents BAD BOYZ KITCHEN

Today's special guest chef, Treesje

Treesje, a native of California, has been writing poetry since the age of 13. What started as a hobby has exploded onto local stages and mics as a form of expression, entertainment and ministry.

Treesje has moved forward from open mics to become a two-time member of the Empire MindState National Slam Team (2009; 2010), 2010 member of the LA Ink Slam team.



Treesje enjoys performing for local middle and high school students and always makes it a point to stress self love and responsibility in her message. Treesje is currently the Coordinator and Host of the Pan African Spoken Wordfest, and co-host of LionLike Mindstate, the fastest growing poetry venue in the Inland Empire.

To quote her poetry, her words can “make you happy, make you sad, and make your thoughts race all at the same time”..*
