Lynne Hazelden founder of Planting Seeds & The Kind Foundation ~ PEACE in OUR Lifetime initiative takes this  rare opening to interview  Michael Johnson of Pathways to Peace United Nations Representative who are the Founding Community who put 'The International Day of Peace' initiailly on the UN Agenda in 1982. Creating the foundation upon which Jeremy Gilley of Peace One Day  embraced by fixing the date to 21st September each year and made a ceasefire. Truly remarkable organisation that work at the UN itself for the day of peace.

Joining us is Dr. Kate Cumbo, Dir of Programs of PeaceJam, an international peace education organization that has 12 Nobel Laureates working with youth around the world. Who announced a 'Global Call to Action ~ A Billion Acts of Peace' that asks young people to work on the most pressing issues facing the world today and to make peace for all a reality in the next ten years.

Peace In OUR Lifetime brings together many Peace organisations to celebrate and acknowledge the peace that is being created everyday. In declaring the day of peace "A Day of Gratitude & Thanks".
