California; where did the name originate?
Let’s witness how strong our ancestors continued to be.
To know where we are going; we must know from which we came. The rich and diverse cultures of Moors around the globe demonstrate people of strength and tenacity. There were great battles to overcome to get to this moment in existence, and we will succeed again in unity and strength.
Struggles in this land - our land - in the Americas continue as we awaken from sleep of who we are. We fell down many times and got up again because as the old saying goes, "Failure is temporary, but not getting back up - makes it Permanent"
The wars that ensued for Moors to protect and defend were the Taino, Aztec, and Powhatan Wars, the Pequot War, King Philip’s War, the Pueblo Revolt, Queen Anne’s War, the French and Indian War, the Tuscarora War, the Yamasee War, the Creek War, Pontiac’s Conspiracy, Lord Dunmore’s War, the First, Second, and Third Seminole Wars, the Black Hawk War, the Navajo Conflicts, the Ute Wars, the Modoc War, the Red River War, and the Nez Percé War.
