Unmasking The Face Of Sexual Abuse

Join me for another riviting broadcast as we continue to lift our voices and shatter the silence of sexual abuse. My special guest is Rhonda Walker, from Houston Texas. Rhonda will share her testimony telling of the sexual abuse she endured as well as the mental abuse she suffered in seeing her mother physically abused and even witnessing her mother turn to alcohol to deal with the dysfunction. This could have easily destroyed Yuoranda from the inside out, but it was because of her belief in God and her willingness to forgive & work on herself, that she was able to overcome her brokenness and heal her hurt. Admittingly, the process was not an easy one but Rhonda refused to allow her hurt to further dictate her actions or her outlook on life. At what she believed to be her lowest point in life, (2 failed marriages, homeless, no true friends, living in a state with no family other than her 2 young children, & having to beg strangers for food to feed her children) she realized that living life her way was the wrong way. It was then that Rhonda decided to face her truth for what it was and allow God to work on her, in her, & through her.

Rhonda is founder of a community organization called Healing R.A.G.E. (Raped & Abused Girls Everywhere).Healing R.A.G.E. founded November 2011, is an organization dedicated to the healing and healthy living of women who have been raped and sexually abused as a child.
