From Classical, Culture beats, Jazz, Funk, Pop, Indie to HipHop, I wish to share what I have in my archives. Each week There will be a prerecorded Mix on Monday for all to enjoy. About DJ Cali Dj Cali, Shani Fenderson, started out at an early age enjoying music. Her mother knew that she would play the flute and gave her one before the first grade. "The pure sound that came from my daughter was a sign she would be as musical as the rest of the family." After learning what she could in school with hopes of attending Berklee School of Music, the bug called Hiphop and the life of San Diego changed her perspective. Classical and Jazz was close to her heart, but Hiphop was a lifestyle she had to find. Studying ways to break beats, mix, produce, do backup singing, and writing, DJ Cali had hopes to have her place in the entertainment industry. She has worked with many artist that were either independent, gospel singers, R&B Producers with hits on air and TV, Cali continues giving them all an outlet. "My love for music never dies. I know how hard it can be for those trying to 'make it' the old way... But this new generation has so many windows of opportunities for them that they should not miss them nor seek just in one direction to be heard.
