A publishing professional for over 30 years, Shelley is committed to the art of creative communication. She has contributed to dozens of national and local publications and most recently was profile editor for Balance, columnist for Us Artists and contributor to CitySmart, Las Olas and Lincoln Road magazines in South Florida. She has been a book editor for Holt, Rinehart & Winston, Macmillan and McGraw-Hill publishing companies in New York. As associate publisher for consumer and trade magazines, she helped small business and corporate clients with advertising, marketing and promotion.

Shelley is a member of the Authors Guild, National League of American Pen Women, and past president, National Association of Women Writers, South Florida chapter.
