President Obama's speech today against gun violence

So,what are your comments in regards to the president's executive orders pertaining to the assault  weapons ban.And do you think the republicans will fight against these measures.One thing the president said hit home was,there are those who want a A grade from the NRA so they can get contributions for their campaigns.Ask them why,they see it as wrong for the children too be safe,at schools.

And what's with these crazy Americans who believe,the U.S. is going to take their guns.Just how free are we as Americans.If you own a gun you are required to have a permit.You can't go hunting out of season with your gun,or you will be arrested.

If you have a felony, you are prohibited from owning a fire arm.We have gun free zones where if you are caught in possession of a fire arm without a permit you could be arrested . Plus we have states that are changing their gun restrictions laws as well like in New York and other states.So just how free do you really think you are ?

Obama is hitting a cord with me and on this issue,I can see some common ground.There are those who say he has no power,but they don't know about executive orders.There are at least 23 he signed today-let's check them out tonight.
