Vanessa Ballard has felt the pain, heartache and consequences of living an unhealthy lifestyle. She had to face her struggles head on making a commitment to make her spiritual, emotional and physical health a top priority. Vanessa became a Fitness and Nutrition Specialist as a way of honoring God for restoring her health and giving her the skills to teach others how to live a healthy lifestyle. She developed a non-diet approach to obtaining a healthy weight, be it weight loss or weight gain, that includes a easy to follow ten step system. Vanessa is also a Certified Weight Management Consultant, Personal Trainer, Speaker and Author. She has been published in Born to Move Magazine and her new book, "Live the Challenge: Be Fit, Healthy, Energized and Peaceful" will be released this fall. She recently hosted and spoke at the Make Today Matter conference bringing together local experts in the health and wellness industry to educate the community and students of Bowie University.
