There's a new body working technique in town! It's called Muscle Activation Technique (MAT) and it's breaking all the rules. Some of the personal trainers at Brick Bodies workout centers are using it, including this morning's guests, Rommie Wheeler (minus the dreads) and Mike Caplan.
Very little – almost no – pressure is used, yet it has dramatic effects, very quickly. It is primarily used for chronic conditions. In fact, a lot of the people they get on their table have run out of options. It's this or surgery. The person on the table feels like they're not doing anything. But when they get up and walk, they do it a whole lot better!
I can attest to this. Mike has been treating me for about five months. I couldn't run at all when I came to him; then I could run half a mile with the aid of a resistance band; now I can do half a mile without the band. Can the high school track be far away for me?
