Are vaccines bad for you? We know they prevent diseases such as measles, diphtheria, and of course, small pox. But is there a risk involved?  And is there is, does it outweigh the benefits?  For years, there has been speculation that these vaccines cause autism.  Is it true?

And if we don't use the vaccines, how do we handle the outbreaks of those diseases that we had thought eradicated?  Or will that even happen?

My guest this morning, Claire Dwoskin is the director of Children's Medical Safety Research Institute.  The instutute has done a great deal of research on this subject, and she'll be talking about what they have learned.
