    Do I have to agree with your spiritual, political, parental or other beliefs in order to have a  respectful conversation with you? I don't believe so. Do I have to dismantle your belief system in order to further mine? I don't believe so. Is it necessary for me to convince you to believe "my way" in order for me to continue to believe? I don't believe so.

    You mean, I can just believe what I believe, whether you do or not? I do believe so!

    Maybe if we could bring all of our "parts" of understanding to the table, and actually listen and consider that the other parts, especially opposing parts,  may have some merit...we might be able to "grow up" into a greater consciousness than was ever individually possible....Just a thought....
