    Through my son, an Iraq War Veteran, I have a daily front -row seat to the effects of war. This has caused me to more carefully examine my thoughts about it.

    I've come to the conclusion that - There's got to be a more excellent way! And it starts with each of us in our everyday relationship with others.

    God said this to me, "Penny, you have dug many graves in you & buried your pain...I want to open them & resurrect what you have buried. This is going to be painful for a minute, but I will walk you through it - to the other side- and you will become whole."

    Once you have begun this journey yourself, you can't help but empathize with others' pain.

    How many wars would this prevent; at home, in our communities, in our nation and in our world.

    Be the change you seek...
