    Is Cleanliness close to Sexiness?

    Last night I had the opportunity to read over an excerpt from Zane's upcoming December 1st release, Total Eclipse of the Heart.  While reading the first segment entitled, "Damon Jones" I  was struck by a section where the character Damon enters his home after a long day of hanging out with friends at a Fourth of July cookout.  He takes a shower and heads off to bed but is thwarted in his quest for sleep by his wife Carleigh who is tipsy and horny. 
    Carleigh hops into the bed ready to get busy but Damon is offended by the fact that she's gotten into bed ready to sex him up without washing. 

    Arriving on the back of recent socio-political bon mots regarding  “people who shower *before* they go to work” and “people who shower *after* they go to work”.  It begs the question as to why the white-collared Damon Jones after a day of just hanging out -- no demanding physical labor to speak of -- feels that he and his wife require a good soaping before the lovin'.

    Granted, if you're pulling a full day at the docks or sweating in the hot sun pouring tar or doing construction, a shower would be pro forma before expecting your significant other to "get down" or "go down."  But if you get up in the morning wash from head to toe then pull on your business suit and sensible shoes before heading to your white collar desk job where you pretty much sit all day, do you really need a shower in the evening?  What could you possibly have done to get so dirty that you couldn't give your partner a little taste?

    Although some favor their mates getting a full clean up job from head to toe, others find the scent of their partners' bodies erotic and sensual - even after a full day's work.  Do you expect your partner to clean up before the main event?  Does your partner expect you to take a wash cloth to that thing before they get their lips wet? 

    Tonight on the Wicked Wednesday show we'll read that excerpt from Zane's upcoming release then Saturday Night at 9pm CST join Otto and me for the "In Like Flynn " show  as we tackle the the sticky issue of whether cleanliness is close to sexiness!
